Alpha Athletics is owned and operated by Shea and Bryan Schmidt, longtime El Dorado Hills residents who are raising their family in the same community they serve.
As parents and business owners, Shea and Bryan built Alpha Athletics to provide a structured, professional training environment that prioritizes athlete development, clear communication, and family balance.
We didn’t set out to build just another training facility. As parents, we experienced firsthand how fragmented youth sports had become — families bouncing between fields, trainers, schedules, and systems that didn’t communicate with one another.
Alpha Athletics was created to bring everything together: professional coaching, structured development, strength and performance training, and a supportive community — all under one roof.
Why Our Family Built Alpha & Why that Matters!
Alpha Athletics isn’t run by a franchise, or a rotating leadership team. It’s run by our family.
Because we are parents first, we built Alpha with the same standards we expect for our own kids: consistency, accountability, and intentional development.
Every decision we make is grounded in one question: Is this what we would want for our own kid?

Athletes are known by name, not numbers.
